    Re: lifting supplements

I've taken supplements in the past, and believe me man, they can have side effects. Heck, one of them i took had my blood so thin i could touch my nose and it would start bleeding, needless to stay, i stopped thking that one. There are many things you can take, but some of the prohormones and test-boosters aren't too swell to your body, i recommend just having a good diet and alot of protein...

i havent taken a supplement in around 8 months, mainly due to the fact that i havent been able to lift any, but man, if you want some gains, with some side effects, i recommend hooking yourself up with some dianabol, and not that stuff that you see in the back of mags headlines "legal steroids" and called d-bol, the real stuff, i've never taken it, but know a few and it will definitley help ya out...

    Re: lifting supplements

You can get all the nutrients you need from a quality diet and some good multivitamins. Remember this your body is like 90% water. If you do decide to take something a quality creatine supplement or amino acid supplement are not to bad if taken according to guidelines and not by double dosing thinking you will get there faster. GNC has there own brand of supplements I used there creatine, but watch out because most of these are gonna give you mood swings and in my case made me very irratable and cranky. Nothing beats hard work and a good nights sleep, and stretching good after your workout. Also work in cycles 10-12 weeks hard work 2 weeks off. You will make your biggest gains and will notice increased size and strength during the two weeks off, this is when your muscles are healing and growing. You are tearing the muscle while you are working it the same principal as when you break a bone it grows back stronger than the original well when you make these small tears lifting the muscle lengthens to grow back together which inceases size and amount of muscle. I know for myself that after my 2 weeks off I came back and was lifting at least 10-15 pounds more than when stopped.

    Re: lifting supplements

I wouldnt take anything. Alot of the supplements out there have not been properly tested so no one knows exactly what they will do to your body. Just go with a good diet and water and you will be fine.

I used to take Andro-Poppers myself. I think they finally outlawed them. To be honest, don't take anything. Eat healthy, I mean get a good diet that has everything you need in it. Work out. Contact some colleges, they'll send you a workout designed to get you to your maximum performance. Everything has side effects.

    Re: lifting supplements

I think if your 20 and under you shouldnt take any supplements. Unless were talking vitamins or protien shakes. Also if you take creatine you need to take it in moderation, dont load up on it like they say to. And never take more than 2-3 grams a day. I know someone who has kidney damage from creatine, of course they did take it for about 4 straight years.

All and all hard work, eating enough protein and the right amount and mix of carbs, and getting 8 hours of sleep a night is the best thing for your body. If you wanna get big, then eat big. Sleep and grow.
